It’s an oddball “slice of life” approach to storytelling that is fairly popular in Japanese comedy if you’ve not seen the TV series, Good Morning Call (where two mismatched students fall for a scam and accidently rent the same apartment, and then decide to go on living together, which results in much hilarity), then you’ll know where Nekopara comes from. Naturally, at first he doesn’t want to take responsibility for them at all, but they turn him around on that and much of the rest of the story spins around their deepening relationship. Nekopara is a comedy that trades on putting a rather earnest and dull protagonist against the playfully chaotic whirlwind of the real interest in the story – the cat girls. Angelica’s Temptation: From the Beginning The characters will react differently depending on where the player is stroking them. the characters in the game by clicking on them. The characters will react in different ways depending on where the player “pets” them. 0 added a new feature where the player can click on characters in-game, to “pet” them. It also features an e-mote system that makes the characters semi-alive instead of being only stationary sprites. The player has no direct influence nor has any available interaction that will affect the game’s outcome. Nekopara is a visual novel series, so therefore the player will read throughout its story. 0added a feature that allows the player to “stroke” NEKOPARA Vol 1 Gameplay The game uses a system called ” E-mote ” which allows characters to be animated, replacing the static 2 sprites.
The voices in the game are all fully dubbed (in Japanese) with the exception of the main hero. Nekopara does not offer the player the possibility of making choices at any time and therefore has no choice. Nekopara is a visual novel series, so the majority of the gameplay consists of reading the dialogues of the characters and following the story of the game.
And now with the E-mote System, the characters smoothly move on screen changing expression and poses in countless ways.
